Sander Zulauf…

sandypicSander Zulauf edits the Journal of New Jersey Poets at County College of Morris, in Randolph, New Jersey, where he has been teaching poetry, creative writing, and literature since 1973.  He is one of the editors of The Poets of New Jersey: From Colonial to Contemporary  (Jersey Shore Publications, 2005).

Breaking Point published his first book of poetry, Succasunna New Jersey, in 1987.  His second collection, Living Waters, was published by his church (St Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Succasunna) as a fund-raiser in 2005.

He founded the Index of American Periodical Verse in 1971 with Irwin Weiser, who is now chairman of the English Department at Purdue University.  (The Index is an annual reference book to poetry published in magazines, published by Scarecrow Press, and now in its thirtieth year.)  His poems have appeared in dozens of national periodicals, including The New York Times.

A poet with the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation,  Zulauf was named the first Poet Laureate of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark in 1999, and  Dryad Press in Washington, D.C., just released his new collection of poems, Where Time Goes.

He is President of the Forest South Homeowners Association, is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World, and shares his life with his wife, the photographer Madeline Zulauf.
